wellness
Pet Wellness Care

Our medical team believes annual wellness exams are imperative to keeping your pet happy and healthy! Not all pets are the same, so our wellness plans will be individually tailored to your pets needs based on their lifestyle, breed and age.

During your pet’s annual physical exam, your doctor will thoroughly examine your pet from nose to tail. We can discuss the recommended diagnostic tests, vaccinations, and parasite prevention medications. Our goal is to make sure our client’s pets receive the highest quality of personalized veterinary care.

In-Home Pet Euthanasia
In-Home Pet Euthanasia

Saying goodbye to your beloved friend will be one of the hardest things you have to do – and you do not have to do it alone. We are here for you. Our team is honored to be a part of the bond you share with your best friend, and we will help to share your burden and celebrate your memories. We are here to provide your pet with a peaceful transition from this life when the time comes.

We take pride in offering multiple modes of easing pain to keep your pet as comfortable as possible. Euthanasia is the most selfless act of love that you give your pet – the peace of seeing them quietly pass as a final gesture of compassion. Your pain may deepen as you say goodbye, but their pain will be no more. Comfort, peace, and dignity is a gift we can give our pets after a lifetime of unconditional love.

Pet Reiki Services
Pet Reiki Services

Grace Krauser is an experienced Reiki Master, compassionate animal lover, and dedicated Pet Care Professionals service provider.  She specializes in delivering Reiki, a non-invasive alternative therapy, to animals and guardians to reduce anxiety, promote health and wellness, and provide peace for end of life transition.

New to Reiki?

Below are some insights on how and why you should incorporate this service for your loved one.

Our pets are our family members, and therefore deserve to be treated with the utmost love/care, respect, compassion, and dignity.  Many of us know from our experience as animal guardians that animals are highly empathetic, intuitive, and sensitive to energy (even picking up on the guardian’s anxiety and stress!).  Because of their sensitive nature, animals often experience spikes in anxiety or depression around receiving routine treatments as well as during hospice care and euthanasia. Reiki services have proven to support energetic and emotional balance, relieve stress and anxiety, and promote peace and wellbeing for animals.  By adding Reiki to your Pet Care Professionals visit, you enable your loved one to relax and remain balanced while they receive care.

Curious about how to incorporate Reiki into your pet’s care?

Consider Reiki for:

  • Support treatment of anxiety, depression, and other emotional disorders;
  • Assist recovery from surgery and other medical services;
  • Promote peace and relaxation during hospice care; and
  • Reduce anxiety as well as honor your pet’s life during in-home euthanasia.

reproductive
Reproductive Services

Pet Care Professionals offers services such as breeding soundness exams, progesterone testing, semen evaluation, artificial insemination, and pregnancy detection. We can also guide owners through evaluating prospective breeding animals, including genetic and health testing.

hospice
Pet Hospice Care

Our team at Pet Care Professionals is here to ensure your elderly or ill pet stays as comfortable as possible. We want the best quality of life with whatever cherished time is left with your beloved companion.

Hospice care aims to meet the physical and mental needs of a pet faced with a life-limiting illness. It begins the moment a pet is diagnosed with a terminal condition. Pet hospice focuses on caring, not curing. We understand that serious illness profoundly impacts not only the patient but their family as well. Our goal is to promote compassionate emotional care sensitive to the entire family’s needs while also providing exemplary medical care for a comfortable and full end of life.

urgent care
Pet Urgent Care

Just like people, pets will experience accidents and injuries that require immediate emergency care. We know that sometimes it may be difficult to determine if your pet’s condition warrants a visit to urgent care, or if their symptoms are potentially less serious. If you are unsure whether your pet is in need of veterinary urgent care, it is always best to call us. During our regular business hours, we will do our best to fit your pet into our schedule if time allows. We also have the ability to offer virtual appointments for a quick assessment. Please see our Resources page for recommended after-hours emergency care services.

chronic disease
Chronic Disease Management

Chronic diseases need to be carefully managed to ensure your pet lives a long and happy life. Many disease processes are complex and require close monitoring. If left unmanaged, they can be detrimental to the overall quality of life for your pet. Our team can help assess general pain, as well as more complex symptoms seen with endocrine diseases and other ailments. We believe in the importance of having your pet on the proper schedule for follow-up lab work and medications, and we will ensure we can provide the highest quality of care for them. We also want to support our owners through the complexities of better understanding the diagnosis, as well as how to best treat their pets.
