Find answers to our most commonly asked questions below.

In what areas does Pet Care Professionals see patients?
Currently – Mount Pleasant, Downtown Charleston, West Ashley, James & Johns Island, Isle of Palms, Sullivan’s Island, Clements Ferry, and Daniel Island. We will hopefully be constantly expanding our service area as we grow!
What types of animals does Pet Care Professionals treat?

We mostly treat dogs and cats, however we can also treat some pocket pets and reptiles. We ask that you first inquire for any exotic pet appointments to be sure we are well versed in treating these species!

Do you offer at-home euthanasia services and cremation?

Yes! We know that saying good-bye is so hard and we want to help make things peaceful and easy. We can arrange for your pet to be picked up and cremated to eliminate our grieving families having to deal with the details of aftercare.

What types of services does Pet Care Professionals offer?

Great question! Refer to our services page! We offer wellness exams, sick pet exams, and at-home euthanasia services. We offer many other services, feel free to ask!

How long does a typical house call visit last?

That all depends! For wellness visits, we typically allow for about 30-45 minutes per pet to make sure we can perform a thorough exam and review all of their relevant medical histories. A patient who doesn’t feel well will typically require a 1-hour appointment which includes a complete exam, diagnostics if indicated, and all treatments.
